Tuendelee Foundation empowers talented but financially underserved Kenyan youth to
access quality tertiary education and become leaders who contribute to better communities.
We achieve this through our scholarship, mentorship, internship, and community
conversation programs www.tuendelee.org. Our impact transforms lives, but is currently
limited by fragmented basic information systems that create barriers and inefficiencies for
scholars, staff, mentors and other stakeholders.

We aim to build an integrated digital platform that unifies these programs under one
seamless experience. This platform will enable scholars to apply and track scholarships,
connect with mentors tailored to their career goals, discover and secure internships, and
actively engage in community learning and professional development events. Real-time
messaging will keep everyone connected and informed. We will also be able to better
monitor, evaluate and report on our programs.

We are seeking $1700 to develop this platform, enabling us to scale our support to scholars
across Kenya. Alongside funds, we invite volunteer IT professionals to conduct testing on
system functionality, user experience; and quality assurance to ensure a smooth user
experience. We also welcome tech mentors to guide our development team through
architecture, security, and scalability challenges.
