Gross Salary: 30,000-45,000KES depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Program Planning & Coordination
- Design, implement, and monitor scholarship, mentorship, and alumni programs, including leading the recruitment process for scholars and mentors.
- Develop annual and quarterly program work plans, calendars, and activity schedules.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of program activities to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison for mentors, scholars, alumni, and partner institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, ensuring active participation in programs.
- Organize mentorship sessions, networking events, and alumni activities that foster long-term engagement.
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track program indicators, outcomes, and success stories to demonstrate impact.
- Prepare timely reports for management, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements to enhance the quality of scholarship, mentorship, internship and community conversations initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Support
- Supervise and mentor interns, volunteers, and program support staff.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and feedback to ensure program delivery meets expectations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Resource & Event Management
- Support in mobilizing resources and partnerships to sustain and scale programs.
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, training sessions, and community events.
- Ensure prudent use of program funds and resources, and participate in program budgeting and accounting for the same.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Project Management, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in program coordination/management, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience working with youth-focused, education, or social work/community development programs.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with mentors, scholars, alumni, and partner institutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) is an added advantage.
