Scholarship Program
At Tuendelee Foundation, we understand the impact that quality education can have on an individual, their life, and their surrounding community. We provide scholarships, which cover tertiary (college/university) education tuition, exam fees, accommodation, and upkeep for bright, underprivileged students who are unable to meet these costs. Our focus includes students from rural areas, urban slums, and the arid and semi-arid areas.
What does the Scholarship Cover?
Each year, we call out for applications on an annual basis, interview and select bright, talented and deserving students and offer them a scholarship to pursue their studies based on assessed needs.
Coverage
- Tuition
- Exam fees (for professional certificates e.g. CPA & ACCA)
- Accommodation
- Allowance for upkeep
- A combination of the above
Eligibility
- Be Kenyan citizen or resident
- Be 18 - 30 years of age.
- Have Interest in accounting, finance, commerce, or business-related course
- Have an admission letter; or is already enrolled in a reputable University/College in Kenya.
Selection
We consider the following:
- Genuine financial need
- Thoughtful and coherent educational and career plans
- Applicant’s interests and achievements
- Potential to achieve their goals
